Who can join AVM?
Any person interested in the objectives of the AVM and who is active in the field of veterinary microbiology shall be eligible for membership.
Fees
Membership dues, annually, $20.00. Sustaining Members, annually, $100.00. Preregistration for the annual meeting, $50.00. Registration at the meeting, $60.00.

A directory and membership application form can be obtained by contacting the President or Secretary-Treasurer of the association.
Annual Meetings
The AVM annually conducts a Symposium on Techniques in Veterinary Microbiology. In addition to the business session, the general session, and guest speakers, the principle feature of the annual meeting is the discussion sessions, typically in the “round-table” format, on the problems and procedures of interest to the various areas and disciplines of veterinary microbiology.
Exibitors & Presentations
Commercial exhibits and presentations on topics of mutual interest are welcome; their incorporation into the meeting program are left to the discretion of the local meeting site arrangements committee. Exhibitor fees are $400.00.
